Sieneon was the first proposing the "common access point"
architectures to integrate the switching and networking into one access
platform. This CAP concept is the core of the Open Networking
Architectures, and therefore foster the research and development of next
generation networking technologies including the soft-switching, wireless
routing, ad-hoc networking as well as end-to-end direct signaling, etc.
This new architecture will also help construct an open platform to
facilitate the dynamic network resource management and performance
optimization.
